Recent Welding and Metal Fabrication ProjectsDuring the past 18 months Paul Williams Welding Services has been engaged in a number of interesting and complex fabrication projects for customers in Pembrokeshire and west Wales:
Architect Designed Stainless Steel Spiral Staircase
This project involved the highly complex fabrication of a stainless steel, spiral staircase for a unique eco-lodge on the outskirts of St Davids. Working from the architects drawings, Paul Williams Welding Services selected the materials, prepared custom-designed jigs for the spiral, fabricated the staircase in transportable sections and erected it on site. You can see more photos of this project in our Photo Gallery.
Stainless Steel and Glass Cantilever Balcony and Balcony Window
Using CAD software, Paul Williams Welding Services designed this modern cantilever balcony for a Newport beach house, to provide stunning views across Newport Sands. The balcony and balcony window are made from highest grade stainless steel to withstand the very worst that a seaside environment such as this can throw at it. You can see more photos of this project in our Photo Gallery.
Galvanised Steel Patio Railings
This project required the manufacture and fitting of over 40 metres of galvanised steel railings around a private house. Once the workshop jig has been made, production of railings is fairly quick and therefore cost effective. All external steel fabrication is galvanised to protect it from the corrosive effects of the Pembrokeshire sea air. You can see more photos of this project in our Photo Gallery.
Designer Railings with Durable Powder Coating Finish
Another sea-front property that required garden railings to withstand the salty sea air for many years to come. This customer required a rather more stylish design of garden railing (see close up in the Photo Gallery). The railings were then deep galvanised and finished in a high-gloss black powder coating before they were fitted. You can see more photos of this project in our Photo Gallery.
